Mr. Tanjil Chowdhury has been appointed as Director of Prime Exchange Co. Pte Ltd with effect from 11 Dec 2011. He is the present Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. He was Director in the Board of Prime Bank Limited and Chairman, Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, Prime Bank. Tanjil Chowdhury did his BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from University of West London (formerly TVU) and went on to completing MSc in International Management (Finance), from King’s College London, University of London. He is the Managing Director of East Coast Group of companies, a diversified conglomerate with primary focus on Oil & Energy. Mr. Chowdhury served as President of Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association (BMBA) for 2014 & 2015. He is the Secretary General of Prime Bank Cricket Club, a social initiative of Prime Bank Foundation (PBF). He is a regular speaker at various private universities. His lecture topic ranges from Financial Derivatives and Investment strategy to Marine Management and Organizational Behaviour. Mr. Chowdhury is an active member of BBC Film Society and King’s College Business Society. He is also a keen golfer and has achieved many laurels in this sporting arena.

Mr. Muhammed Farhad Hussain FCA has been appointed as Director of Prime Exchange Co. Pte. Ltd with effect from 29 June 2015. He is an Independent Director in the board of Prime Bank Limited with effect from April 2015.

Managing Partner of M/s Hussain Farhad & Co., Chartered accountants, Mr. Hussain is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh with thirty seven years of experience in key positions of Finance and Accounts with multi-disciplinary business organizations at home and abroad.

Mr. M. Farhad Hussain FCA is a council member and former President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (2007). He is a director of Dhaka WASA, Prime Bank Investment Limited and Bay Asset Management Ltd. He is also independent director of Matin Spinning Mills Ltd and Al-Haj Textile Mills Ltd.

He is former Director of Shadharan Bima Corporation, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), Agrani Bank Limited and former Board Member of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), Confederation of Asia Pacific Accountants (CAPA) and former Advisor of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission & Financial Consultant of Oriental Bank Ltd. Mr. Hussain is also member of the Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee of the Board of Prime Bank Ltd.

Mr. Rahel Ahmed has been appointed as Director of Prime Exchange Co. Pte Ltd with effect from 27 March 2018. He is also Prime Bank's new Managing Director & CEO with effect from December 14, 2017. Mr. Ahmed is a career banker and has been very successfully working as DMD and Chief Business Officer of the bank since joining them in early 2015. He is an international banker of varied Wholesale Banking background having worked before with in various leadership roles with the two largest multinational Banks in Bangladesh, ANZ Grindlays Bank and Standard Chartered Bank for more than a decade. He has subsequently resided and worked in Dubai, UAE for around 7 years to work for two of the largest regional Banks, Emirates NBD Banking Group and First Gulf Bank in different senior roles including specialization in Islamic Banking. He has played a leading role over the last almost 3 years in leading the 'Business Model Restructuring and Centralization' for Prime Bank.

Mr. Ahmed has an MBA (Major in International Business) from the Maastricht School of Business, Netherlands. He is also a certified "Credit Professional" of world reputed Omega in UK and holds Certificate of Recognition in International Trade Skill Assessment Program jointly conducted by Standard Chartered Group London and ICC. He was also awarded of Outstanding Employee and CEO’s award in Standard Chartered Bank and First Gulf Bank for his outstanding performance in different times. He has attended numerous numbers of domestic and international training, seminars and workshops over the past around 23 years that covered different aspects of banking and related fields.

Ms Sharmila Gunasingham has been appointed as Director of Prime Exchange Co. Pte Ltd since inception. She is a corporate lawyer involved in international practice. A daughter of a diplomat, Sharmila Gunasingham, a Singaporean by birth and nationality, was raised in the Western capitals of the world, including Washington D.C. and Bonn. She schooled in the UK, attended London University, and trained with a London law firm for two years, qualifying as an English Solicitor before returning to Singapore.

Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore in November 1981, Sharmila immediately began practicing at Rodyk and Davidson LLP (R&D), working with Mrs. Arfat Selvam, its head of corporate. She was made a partner of R&D in a span of four years. Appointed the partner contact at R&D for the Pacific Rim Advisory Council (PRAC), an international membership of 21 major law firms in the Pacific Rim region, she was also elected to office by the member firms as the Vice Chairperson of PRAC.

After a decade at R&D, Sharmila was invited and became the Co-Founder of a new boutique corporate law firm established by Mrs. Arfat Selvam which was named Arfat Selvam and Gunasingham and later changed its name to ASG Law Corporation (ASG). During Sharmila’s 14 year tenure as ASG’s Joint Managing Director, she spearheaded the firm's Formal Law Alliance with Herbert Smith, a “magic circle” London law firm and headed up ASG’s team handling Herbert Smith referrals. During this time, Sharmila also accepted an invitation from the leading Canadian law firm Stikeman Elliott to be its Singapore representative.

Sharmila's experience as a corporate lawyer and international connectivity enabled her to establish in 2006, Global Law Alliance, (GLA) a Singapore Law Corporation focusing primarily on corporate work whilst representing global clients based in Asia, Europe, the USA, the Middle East and beyond. She soon set about establishing alliances with international law firms across the world and expanded practice areas beyond corporate to include litigation and dispute resolution.

Sharmila's areas of practice include Corporate Law, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Cross Border Transactions and Financial Services. Active in the funds management industry, Sharmila was also elected as the President of the Financial Planning Association of Singapore, a 5000 member body of financial institutions.

Featured in a widely publicized interview, by the ‘Straits Times’ (Singapore’s leading English newspaper) and ‘Lianhe Wanbao’ (Singapore’s Chinese language newspaper) where her views were sought on a number of issues including political leadership and corporate governance, Sharmila has increasingly been sought after as a speaker by distinguished forums.
